“O’Reilly School of Technology”

Speaker: Scott Gray

Scott is the founder and director of the O'Reilly School of Technology. He has 20 years of experience in developing and delivering computer based learning systems and 15 years experience creating online courses. He is a former faculty member of the mathematics department at the University of Illinois where he worked with Jerry Uhl teaching Calculus&Mathematica, the most successful computerized mathematics courses in the world. Scott and his wife Trish founded Useractive, Inc. in 1997 a company dedicated to delivering online courses based on the constructivist pedagogical structures developed in the Calculus&Mathematica courses but applied to Computer Science and Information Technology. O'Reilly purchased Useractive, Inc. in 2005, and in 2007 it became the O'Reilly School of Technology.
